Enhance your university experience by getting involved in sport

La Trobe University Sports Centre offers many student membership options, facilities and services. If you are a Student Union member, you can receive a further 5% discount on sports centre prices. There are over 26 affiliated sports clubs you could join!

For the competitive:

Get involved with on-campus La Trobe League social sport competitions at the state-of-the-art La Trobe Sports Stadium. You could even represent the University at an intervarsity sporting competition or University Nationals.

La Trobe University also offers an Elite Athlete Program (LEAP) that provides elite athlete students assistance and support to successfully combine their academic and sporting pursuits.

For the fun-seekers:

If fun runs and mass participation events are more your thing, you can represent La Trobe in one of their Team La Trobe community events.

If you’re living on campus in residential colleges, our Sport and College Sports Representatives coordinate an extensive inter-college sports program.

Our Sports Centre is home to impressive aquatic facilities where you can get your laps in, with many learn to swim, water safety and recreational programs for students.

La Trobe Sports Park

The first of its kind in Australia

Located at the Melbourne Campus, The La Trobe Sports Park offers a unique environment to play, teach and research sport. Already boasting a large, state-of-the-art sports stadium, the Sports Performance Hub, and all kinds of playing fields, the facilities will span 15 hectares once completed.

The Sports Park will be a major regional sporting hub for the community, bringing national, state and local sports organisations to Melbourne’s north.
