Muslim prayer facilities

Melbourne campus

The Melbourne campus has separate prayer rooms and ablution facilities for men and women, located in the Education 2 Building. Congregational prayers are conducted on Friday at lunchtime.

To gain access to the prayer room, email cardaccess@latrobe.edu.au with your student ID number, card access number (on the back of your student ID card), and access required (male/female room).

There are also two mosques located close to the Melbourne campus, in Heidelberg and Preston.

La Trobe University’s Islamic Society Club (LTUIS)

The main aim of the LTUIS committee is to assist other Muslim students

This club is set up with the sole purpose of strengthening the Muslim community in their religious knowledge and commitment, as well as strengthening the Muslim community in their ties of brotherhood/sisterhood.

We welcome with open arms and wide smiles anyone wanting to add to the already rich LTU Muslim community and environment.
