VTAC applications

To apply to study with us, you may need to either apply through VTAC or directly.

How you’ll need to apply will depend on your visa status, where you are applying from, and which intake you are applying for.

Applying through VTAC

For the February intake only, you should apply through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC). Online VTAC applications open in August for commencing in the following year. You can apply through VTAC if you are:

• an Australian citizen
• an Australian permanent resident
• a New Zealand citizen
• an international student completing high school in Australia*
• a temporary resident currently studying an Australian Year 12* or International Baccalaureate in Australia or New Zealand.

*For example: VCE, VCAL, HSC, NTCE, QLD Senior Certificate, SACE, TCE, WACE. Contact VTAC directly for more information about the application process. After the VTAC process is complete, you can apply directly to La Trobe College Australia.

Applying directly to La Trobe College Australia

You can apply directly to La Trobe College Australia if:

• you are applying for the June or October intakes at La Trobe College Australia, or
• the VTAC rounds have closed for the February intake
• you are applying to La Trobe College Australia only
• you are applying to study at La Trobe’s Sydney Campus
